Our own Jaan Saar has been appointed interim CEO of buildingSMART International. buildingSMART is the leading global organization responsible for developing and maintaining open standards for software interoperability in the AEC industry, such as openBIM and IFC. This is a recognition of his expertise and a confirmation of the importance of open standards like IFC in our sector!

Jaan has been appointed to support the leadership team at buildingSMART international. He will focus on optimizing resources, adapting processes, and improving efficiency. With his in-depth knowledge and strong focus on digital transformation using open standards, there is no better person for this challenge.
